Tips on Planning a Successful Outdoor Movie Event

#1 - RESERVE YOUR DATE & VENUE

  • If possible, start planning 2 - 4 months in advance

  • Decide on a location

  • Check site for power, level surface and ambient lighting (ambient lighting effects the picture quality)



#2 RESERVE YOUR EQUIPMENT

  • Reserve your equipment with Airblown Entertainment. To secure your desired, please try to give us a 2 - 3 month notice (we do understand that this is not always possible). 

  • Reserve date by submitting a 50% deposit and signed contract to Airblown Entertainment.



#3 MOVIE LICENSE

  • Securing a Movie license is an EASY process!

  • When choosing a movie title, remember to consider your audience demographics Movie Licensing Information



#4 TWO DAYS BEFORE THE SHOW

  • Movies normally arrive from the licensing company about 2 days before your event. Please review the movie to make sure there are not any defects or problems. If there are problems with the disk,please call the appropriate licensing company before your event so they can send you a new disk.

  • Print check for the remaining balanced owed to Airblown Entertainment

  • View weather forecast. Contact Airblown Entertainment if inclement weather has been forecasted for your area.



#5 IT’S SHOWTIME!

  • Give Airblown Entertainment a copy of your movie from the licensing company.

  • Make announcements recognizing your sponsor and upcoming events.

  • HAVE FUN!

  • Remit check to Airblown Entertainment for remaining 50% balance.



#6 …..the day after

  • Ship movie back to appropriate licensing company.

  • Complete audience report (if admission was charged)
